I just inherited a Fostex 450 mixer. Could someone please help me find an owners manual and 3 faders knobs? Needle(s) in a haystack?

no parts here but
i dont know if either of you has a service manual for the 450, but i am going crazy trying to a get my hands on one (the 16 channel version.. i know it's just an extra 8 channel board added on, but i imagine some of the schematics are different) ... can't find it online for less than $45, which is absurd for a PDF file.. basically i'm wondering
a) if anybody already has the PDF and will email me a copy for 10 bucks or somethin like that
b) if anybody needs a copy and is willing to go two or three (or four, or five!) ways on the PDF i found.. it's at music parts.com or something, and supposedly delivers in one hour for this model.. i can email you specs if you need em..
just a shot in the dark, i guess..
good luck finding those faders... if i can't resucitate my 450 i might be willing to give some bits and pieces away, but i'd rather not think about that yet!

It's been a few years but do you still have your 450? Willing to part out 3 fader knobs?
I've got a manual for mine if you'd like a copy. It's for an 8 channel, though. I'll swap you a manual for faders. Not sure how fair a deal that would be but thought it worth a shot.
