i dont understand whut MIDI accually is! i know it sounds dumb,... i got midi in/outs on my keyboards but i dunno how to use them, is there a special chord i have to get?

2 cables---midi out of keyboard to midi in of your card
midi out of your card to midi in of your keyboard
this creates a loop. You input data from your keyboard to comp.
then the comp outputs data to your keyboard to tell it to play
