When I hook up my Pod to the effects loop, how can i just hear the return effect through Headphones/Monitor, without hearing the original track that is sending it's signal to the effects loop? Sorry probably quite a basic question.

I look forward to hearing the compilation CD when it comes out, Good Luck with it!

Your Effect 1 knob should be basically just a "Wet/Dry" knob. So turning it all the way up should yield in no original signal and all POD. Also have your stereo returns all the way up.

This works on the 414 at least.

If you have it hooked up stereo in and stereo out, turn effect 1 and 2 all the way up.

Thank you for the reply, However i am still not quite getting it. When I use the effects loop I can only hear the return (efected) signal if I turn up the sending tracks fader, even with the effect1 send dial on full. This results in the send and return signals merging together. I would have thought turning the effect1 send to full and leaving track fader at 0 would send the signal to the effects loop anyway? I recall seeing somewhere that the effects loop out is in line after the track fader, does this mean I am trying to do something impossible?

Uhhh....I still don't get what it is you are trying to do.

Are you wanting a 100% wet signal?

All I know is the effect knob under the EQ knobs is your wet and dry. Left is dry signal. Middle is 50/50, right is wet.

Also, do you have the L-R button pushed in? Keep it on L-R and not effect 1 or effect 2.

I am not being very clear, but thanks for trying to understand. The 414 sounds a little different to the 424? maybe...

I will go back to the shop and ask (not too hopefull though.

Thanks again.
