40 years ago I was almost 19. I didn't really twig to The Ramones until It's ALIVE was released & I bought it as soon as I'd heard the 1st 3 bars.
They didn't get much airplay in Oz - the main place was a Govt station called Double J. but it was mainly based on hippy & alternative DJs. It's Alive would be my most borrowed LP of the 70s.
