4 track to PC question

A friend and I have been mucking around with my Tascam 424MIII for a couple years, now he's got cool edit 1.2(?) and we don't have a clue!! We would like to put the tracks onto PC, each Tascam track onto it's own cool edit track so we can fool around with it.

I haven't really done a search on the forum, so if someone can point me in the direction of existing thread that'd be cool.

Along with that software, you'll need a soundcard with 4 inputs. The transport on the 424 isn't stable enough to send two tracks at a time.
 
Thanks Track Rat. Wow that's alota posts(over 8000) been around a while,eh?
I did a little searchin' and found another thread, it seems a few guys are dabbling.
