Hello everybody!
I didn't upload any of my new songs for a while but god thing is that I’m working on couple of new songs. In the meantime I decided to share with you some tunes written and recorded by a friend of mine.
These tunes were recorded on some analogue 4-track tape recorder (I don’t remember which one). Tell me what you think!

Is Lyrisk Disko one of the 4 track songs? I couldn't tell from your list so clicked the top one.
If this is 4 track it's pretty good & a fine example of what can be done on a cassette machine.
The only things I'd comment on are the snare & bass drum - both sound over processed esp the bass drum sound.
I liked the move into cod reggae kind of a proggy Police.

Hello rayC!
All of them were recorded on 4-track tape machine. They cheated on some of them and bounced some tracks and mixed them again just to get some more tracks into song.
I was impressed when I heard songs and asked my friend about everything and he told me he knew nothing about computers and digital production.
He got some other guy to transfer and convert their tapes to PC and they burned several CDs for their friends. That means that not many people have actually heard this until now. There was too much hiss behind the tunes so I removed it using A Audition.
That was all I did before I uploaded them to soundclick.

The drums are actually just an old drum machine.
Everything was done 7-8 years ago.
I was impressed by their programming skills too.

Lyrisk disko - Very nice instrumental music. The sound quality is quite good for a 4-track. It sounds great.... The guitars have a very sweet tone. The drum machine is pretty good ..... Reminds me of an instrumental "Men at Work".

Enjoyed this one!

:) :D :) :D
