I am considering buying a new sound card. Which of these would be my best bet (most for the money)? I plan on using a Behringer MX1804X with it.

1. Echo Mia
2. Audiophile 2496
or
3. TerratecEWS88D

?????

What are you buying the soundcard for? How many tracks are you planning to record at the same time, what's yer budget,... We need info before we can give any advice...

Well the sound cards i listed are in the 200$ range.
I want to record and mix and maybe eventually master.
I'm not sure how many I/o i need but don't want to be short and I want to be able eventually to upgrade.

Ok, Here is what i want to do. I want to be able to record 4 or 5 tracks at once on my computer. Also I want to be able to hook a mixer up ( if its possible) but a console in the computer would be fine too. I'm not really sure if I need MIDI or not because i don't use keyboards but do have a Virtualizer DSP100 with Midi i/o. Also i want to hook up my monitors up to the card too. Which of the following would be best suited for me?

1. Echo Mia
2. Echo Gina
3. M-Audio Omni Studio Package
4. Audiophile 2496
5. Terratec EWS88D

Anybody with any knowledge please help me. Actually any kind of info on these cards would be great.
Thanks tons.

Terratec EWS88D is digital only you'll need an AD/DA converter.
Terratec EWS88MT has an external ADDA converter box, but it costs more.
