Traitorous Usurper
30 gig Philips GoGear HDD6330/17 mp3 player (brand new, unopened box) up for grabs. Why am I getting rid of this? Glad you asked. I had some pain in the ass glitches with the first one, and after numerous problems with Philips' customer service department, I ended up with this as a replacement. Personally, I'm not interested in using Philips' products anymore, so let's see if someone else has some better luck. Actually, the player itself is pretty damn sweet looking...run a Google search and check it out. Comes with headphones, a nylon-like padded protective pouch, USB/charger cable, and all the warranty info still inside the sealed package. It works slightly different than the iPods and other what-have-you's: the GoGear runs from Windows Media Player instead of iTunes. It's compatible with Windows XP only.
It retails for a $279, and eBay prices seem to go between $200 and $240. I wouldn't mind selling it, but maybe you've got some cool stuff to trade me for it instead. I'm looking for pretty much the same shit everybody else is, so let's just bring on the redundant idea list from hell:
FMR RNC
DMP-3
VTB-1
BBE MaxCom (I know, I know...
)
Random Studio Projects, MXL, Shure, AT, Behringer, etc. mics
Rackmount guitar tuner
That wacky Lexicon USB effects thingy
Boss delay pedals
Various rack shit (whatcha got?)
Guitars, basses, acoustics, whatever ('59 Les Paul, anyone?
)
Rocktron rack stuff, because I just like saying "Rocktron". Try it...ROCKTRON!
You get the idea...throw out an offer. Hell, I'm even interested in comics, games, books, Shannon Elizabeth....ya never know. PM me if ya want, but why not also post your offers up here just so everybody can ridicule and evaluate each other's stuff? Good times for all.
I'm in the first post of the Good Guys List (scattered throughout there in various places too), so you can rest assurred that the player will get to you safely, quickly, and well-packaged. However, here's the "caveat emptor". It's unopened. It's untested. Philips pissed me off and their service department is about as useful as a gerbil in your ass. If you have problems with the player, you'll have to go through them not me. The good news, though, is that they WILL send you a replacement. I just wanted to throw that out there for the sake of honesty.
