How many can you use in one computer?
Do they work with macs?
How do the converters compare to ones by aardvark, motu, or rme?

I've heard of lots of problems trying to run multiple 1010's I'm ditchin the idea and I'm getting an Alesis HD24 this week. Wanna buy my Delta 1010?

The problems you heard about were due to poor drivers for win 2000 and windows XP. The driver issue has now been solved and the devices work perfectly when synched together using the S/PDIF I/Os.

On a dedicated DAW built with the right components I believe the Delta 1010s to be the best cards in that price range.

That's good that they got it worked out finally. So, anyone need another Delta 1010

I can find out what the shipping would cost. Guess I'll check what the going rate for a used 1010 is. I'll let ya know.

LemonTree,

I am a current multiple delta 1010 and m-audio card user. I have been completely unsuccessful over the last 4 months to get 2 1010's to play nicely together.

I have used the "corrected" drivers. No dice. So you actually have multiple 1010's running in an xp environment? If so care to share the secret?

I would LOVE to get my rig working so I dont have to fork over $2000 clams for a RME multiface system.

your talking about the 1010 and not the 1010lt right? i'm thinking about getting a couple of the 1010lts and sync those with the 2496 i already have.

I currently have 3 m-audio cards I am attempting to sync on my DAW. I have 2 1010's (External Balanced Rackmount units, NOT 1010lt's) and an audiophile 2496. I have been successful (in a buggy way) to get 1 1010 and the 2496 working. When i setup my 2 1010's no dice. Erratic, buggy unsynced audio. There have been many many complaints about this setup to maudio.

I did notice that new drivers came out in May, (I had given up hope of correct drivers....) I will be testing my rig tonight.

I will report back on what i find.

About using multiple 1010lt's Ive never used them, but Im fairly sure that the synchronization method and the driver revision are the same for both the 1010 external and the 1010lt.

I'm running 3 deltas on XP with no problems. 1x Delta1010 and 2x Delta 410 all synched via S/PDIF. 12in/24out

never had a problem. Driver version 4.13.01.0042 Panel version 1.02.09

im planning on buying 2 10/10's, let me know what happens i wanna try to make them work with m-audio's octane preamp, and then run them through mackies controll all with 1 expander to record 16 tracks simotaniously...... have any of you tried this..
note: the puter at the center of my daw will be goodenough for sure..... what software do you recommend, and i will be using win xp pro :)
