Maybe it's just me but the CPU cycles are way down in this latest rev. One of my tunes went from 89% usage down to 66%. Seems like they tweaked the processing quite a bit.

So far, very stable.

Will Cakewalk release a Sonar 3.1, with the "patch" already installed?

Eventually yes. The will incorporate the patch on the retail copies.

I need to reverse my statement above. There are still several bugs in this rev. I am starting to see numerous dropouts. If you have a stable system, stay on the current rev, don't go here yet.

i've installed it, it seems more stable to me didn't do a full session yet though so who knows....they even fixed the crash issue when the wordclock SR and project SR aren't the same... so i'm pretty happy cuz lord knows you can forger the SR of a project very quickly....
