New member
bought a new piece, I hooked it up
lights came on, but the system sucked
some money well spent, some just lost
play music for free, or listen to a boss
gig every weekend, making new friends
spotlight, nightlife, all the coolest trends
rent is due, but I play so well
try playing with no lights, no heat, oh well

I live to rock, cause I have to
blood, sweat and tears
gonna make it some day
I'll keep banging for years

finally the deal, it seems unreal
ups and downs now leveled, revealed
all work, no play, is alright
when it's all work, with pay, plus you play
guitars, amps, keyboards & lava lamps
the noise neighbors hated, now they pay in advance, and ask when the albums slated
so stress no more, 2giveup or not 2
your audience will tell you, play on or F---you

MISTERQCUE: Thanks man, I know how it gets, so I decided to write a song to keep me motivated ya know --- if it helps out someone else, then as an artists, I've done my job
