Hey Shaun,
There still seems to be an issue with some systems and mediafire. The only way I could get to Daedalis was to download a 6.43 meg file and I have safeguards to prevent that from happening. Is there another url where you post your music? Just wonderin', Dave. (aka up-fiddler)

The Fork started out as much of your other stuff has . . . with that almost trademark percussive melody line. I was thinking as I listened to it that what I was starting to hear was various variations on theme. I'd already noticed this with someone else's style . . . we were heading into the realms of predictability, no matter the uniqueness of the style.

However, I was impressed when the percussion came in at1:26. This injected new life into the piece and took it somewhere new. I was strongly reminded of Emerson, Lake and Palmer. There was a good bit of haunting darkness in there, and some longer notes than the usual staccato burst. I like the layering of sounds, with various sounds coming and going .

You had always said you wanted to create a sound track for a porn movie, and I reckon that bit from 1:26 to about 3 mintues would work for me! Now where can I find that film crew. Hmm . . . and the models.

Daedelus was the other piece, and while it too had a decent layering of instrumentation, it didn't enamour me as much as 'The Fork'. There was a neat bit of modulation where the sax sound came in, but it didn't conjure up the dramatic mood for me that The Fork did.

I reckon The Fork has got something special. I'm not convinced by Daedelus.

i figured the fork was something half decent, yah, other people said daedlus sounded okay, but didnt go anywhere, lol.

PS - hey man, if you ever like anythign enough you want a "midi" of it, so you can replace the instrument sounds, or re-arrange it with your professional's ear, just tell me.

feel free to "pimp me out" if you think you know how to do that (I dont...lol)

hunting video... porn video... video game minor character theme... whatever. I'll take "anything" that leads to me working at home in my underwear on my computer.

I just know that if I could buy a hunting video, and point to my name in the credits to my buddies, it would be a "rush".
