hi --
I just tried to record a song with 24bit/88.2kHz using my Roland VM3100Pro + RPC-1 sound card and Logic 5.5. In the Logic "Control Settings" I chose 88.2kHz and 24bit sampling/bit rate. The individual wav files for the tracks seem to be fine, so the recording was ok. However, if I try to listen to the entire song, the VM3100 is MUTE (no error message either in the deisplay) and I don't have an output signal on my monitors!
I just read the manuals for the RPC-1 sound card, which supports 24/88.2, but the VM3100Pro manual says "internal processing: 24 bit, 44.1kHz sample rate". Does the VM31000 not support a higher sample rate??? On the box the VM3100 Pro package was shipped it says in big letters "24/96" -- that's why I bought it in the first place!. Am I doing something wrong???
