Hello again~!
Recently my band has been messing with a recording we have done. We are burning to an external cd burner, not using the unit by simply playing it out the the unit to the burner (not using the mixing mastering function).
After going through, and EQing, and Adding effects, and even Compression, once we save the song, then shut down, and come back to it say a day or two later, and re-load, all the these settings are back at ZERO!
It is frustrating because we all are listening to the mixes in different players and then we re-convene to talk about what we need to fix. When we come back to everything zeroed out, we have to start all over.. I am really hoping there is a step we are missing in saving and that this isn't something Tascam forgot to put on the recorder!
If anyone has any idea how to save these settings please please get back to me!!!!!!! Thank You!!!!
EDIT: I should mention that we have not used the Mixdown function on the unit. Perhaps I can try using this.. but my question then is, if I Master, can I go back in and see the settings that I used and copy the master to be edited as another try? I have been going through my DVD and my Manual and I just can't find the answer! Thanks!
