I realise I am posting a few topics tonight... but I have many questions lol!

Just for reference I'll let you know now that I am using Kristal Audio Engine, not sure if that has any relevance, but at least you knwo now!

So, I have to mix some stuff, which has been recorded to 24 tracks. However I only have 16 to work with. So I was wondering if there were any foreseeable problems with this method of getting round it. I will mix all the 10 or so drum tracks in one file, all the guitar parts in another and all the vocals in a third. Then I will mix those down and ad them to another Kristal file to fine tune the three together. If any problems arise I can go back to the required original mix file and alter the sound in that (say turn up a guitar). Then when I mix it down again the final file will be altered.

Are there any major problems with doing it this way?
