2 x RCA plugs to 3.5mm plug

Anyone know where I can get one of these in the UK? Im pulling my hair out here!!!!

(Its for mixing down onto my MD - I only have 2 RCA outputs from my 4-track)

I haven't looked too thoroughly to confirm, but I hope that place sells in uk...

You weren't kidding, it was tough to find. But then again, I dont know any uk or european vendors, as the ones I browse all only ship to the us.

Only way I found that was by rummaging through the directory at yahoo, be region => uk => shopping and services => music => musical instruments and equipment => retailers, and then looking at about 5 different sites before I found one.

edit: btw, I assumed you wanted stereo on the 3.5mm... they also have a mono one just in case.

Thanks for your help Mattamatta.....unfortunately they only do the 3.5mm to the two RCA Phono female plugs......im after the 2 x RCA (male) plugs to 3.5mm plug.

And it is stereo I'm after. Just gotta keep pulling my hair out!!

The ones in those pix are male RCA.

You could get two RCA sex-changers, or this from Radio Shack.

If you really get desperate, send me the cash and I'll drop one in the mail for you.

Hey, I just checked out that site some more. Look under Audio cables, and check under the audio adapters subcategory.

And also, that cable mattamatta linked to is three meters long, and cuts out the extra connections an adapter will put in your signal chain.
One cable from your Tascam to your MD is a better solution than an adapter on an RCA cable.

Hey, boingoman...thanks for replying. On 2nd look you are right about the plugs. Dont know what I was thinking!....think I just got mixed up with the 3.5mm TO rca bit rather than RCA TO 3.5 mm........

Didn't want to go for an adapter as my 4-track is bad enough without losing any more signal quality.....
