2 Soundcards?

Ok I have decided to get a Delta 44. I currently have an Audigy 2 Platinum Pro. Is it possible to have both soundcards in my machine, and to use the Delta 44 for cubase, and the audigy for crap like games and movies? I know I should really have a separate PC for music, but I'm not really in a situation to build a whole new pc right now...

yea, as long you can't get them both installed and working without a hardware conflict. It shouldn't be too big a deal.

Yeah, theyre both PCI sound cards i believe.. Just set each programme to the soundcard which you wish to use under options/preferences.

You should be able to route ALL of your PC sounds to your Delta 44. I have no problems listening to CDs, watching videos through my Delta 44. It will sound MUCH better than the Soundblaster.

I didn't think the Delta 44 had 5.1? If it does then I'll use it for everything. But I like my games and movies in 5.1 Also the Audigy has a remote control. Cos I'm a big fat lazy sod
