2 Songs To analyze

Just listening on phones..... I like both songs. I think the vocals are the most interesting thing here, so i'd have tried to get them more up front and clearer. Sounds good.
 
thanks for you response, I never quite know just where i should make the vocal sit. Always feel like I'm going to put it too far out in front when I make the vocals louder.

Singer's very good and the songs are well arranged and played. The distorted guitars on Blue need a bit more definition, 'cos they have more distortion than tone. Voice sounds OK level-wise, but I would sink it more into the mix.
Like the clean guitar work on This Sinking Feeling. Same thing with the distorted guitar tone, though. But you didn't track them so it's not your fault. You did a good job with the mixes IMO.
