2 songs gor you guys

I think they're both great songs.

"Down and Out" has nice lyrics and a great feel to it. I'm not sure I'm crazy about the tempo change, but it might be something I'd get used to if I heard it a few times.

"L.A." is also a great tune. I love the arrangement. Again, good lyrics and powerful chorus. Great stuff.

You have a very distinctive voice, too. Thick and full of personality.

thanks RAMI! I'm just trying to put out some rough copies of some of the original songs I've written in the past to see what everyone thinks. I'm going to be upgrading my recording gear and trying to do some more "professional sounding" final versions with real drums and maybe some actual mastering when I get the time this fall.
anybody else care to critique them?
 
great job. you have sort of like an 'everlast' vibe going on with those songs. im not really a fan of this type of music, but you did a great job nonetheless. :)

Thanks again! they are still works in progress that I'm sure will evolve a little more before I get the final mix done when the new gear gets here.
