Hi, i got 2 questions:

1) What is cross-posting?
2) What are the number of posts you need to become a junior member/senior member/force of nature/etc.?

Speedy

1. posting the same question in two or more forums
2. You'll notice....

Heeeyyyy Speeeddy!!

One hundred post turned me into a senior member,I don't know about some of the other names. You should go to the mic forum if you have time and check out the big thread on mics.I can't remember the name of the thread but I think it was started by Chris F and it was about mic patterns and their different uses.It turned into a huge thread by Harvey Gerst explaining pretty much everything you ever wanted to know about mics including specific applications.Totaly awesome!!I printed it yesterday and it's like 75 pages!!

See ya around..:D

ha, an aquaintance from HC :)

Hey Randy, whasssup?
I'll have to check it... I'm still choosing between AT4033, Rode NT1000, AKG C3000B and Studio Projects C1 (all around the same price in Holland.)

c ya later, dude

Hey Speedy......

What are you using the mics for??

For vocals I hear the C1 is excellent in it's price range.

If you want a more multi-pupose condenser check out the 4033.

I have it and love it...

Jus' my 2 cents...

mic's

Well, I would use it mostly on vocals and acoustic guitars.
The C1 is a bit more expensive here in Holland: $314 !!!!
The AT4033 is $283, so there's a bit difference.
Do you guys know the big difference between the AT-3035 and the AT4033?

thanx,
SPeedy

That's a small price difference and for those applications it's preference...can you A/B them??

Now if you want to throw it in front of a cranked guitar amp that's another story...the 4033 can accept about 155dB before it distorts. :)

check out the AT site

http://www.audio-technica.com/index2.html

On my voice I preferred the 4033 over the 3035...clearer / warmer / more ommmph.

Welcome aboard Speed! You'll find the signal-to-noise ratio here a lot higher than at HC... and PP wouldn't last two minutes before being royally broiled! ;)
