2 Ch Pre with Digital outs?

Well, i've got a Delta 1010.. and realistically can only use 8 of the outs since my board doesnt have s/pdif out (A&H GL3). keeping cost in mind, is there a solution for this?

This is what I use. Not the greatest preamp but it gets digital SPDIF into my Firebox.

I was a little confused by your post, do you mean you can only use 8 of the INs on the Delta? I'm assuming you're looking for something to to the S/PDif IN on the Delta to get two more inputs into the computer correct?

Instead of a 2 channel mic pre with S/PDif Outs. you could also try to find something with just line inputs to S/PDif Outs. That way you can still use 10 Pres on the GL3, 8 of them go direct to the Delta Line INs, the other two go to this seperate box, and then S/PDif to the Delta.

I hope I've understood correctly. Sorry I don't have specific suggestions, but I'll keep looking.
