1. I switched computers. I wanted to retain my previous effects settings, either export/import or copy the file and overwrite 'cool.ini' (actually it was copy/patse specific lines in the .ini file itself). I remember trying that with my primary 'puter once, and it worked. But now it's Win98se to Win2K, and no dice. Suggestions?

2. Triggering Samples via Midi: any way to Trigger various samples for each MIDI Note? Or is it just the sample currently on the slab?

Thanks:

1. I cannot help you. I've saved the ".ini" file before and it worked, but it was years ago, and I can't remember what I did.

2. Does CEP/AA do midi? I don't know.

Very sorry, lol.

CEP/AA n' MIDI

I know you can set your 'outs' to the MIDI Adaptor on your soundcard (in CEP). I believe CEP can only play Finished MIDI Files, not record, and you cannot manipulate your MIDI's. Better off with ACID, or a standalone Software or Hardware Sequencer.

I remember doing the 'cool.ini' copy and paste, but this time didn't work, will attempt again.

Here's some stuff I composed a while back:

click on quarter-sized illustration in each song, not the 'play' button; doesn't work

Thanks for input

CEP is capable of triggering wav's via MIDI, but was wondering if... aaahhh, read above
