There is much possibility here. I have a few nits on the mix so far, but I feel something really cool could come from the mood of this.

Yep some good mood here and progression. I would look to EQ the lower muddy bits out of the synths below 200 and remove the fizzy high stuff over 10K and get rid of the static outro, and clear some space all round

I took some advice and went through and adjusted some eq here and there. It made quite a bit of difference. I don't know what was up with my ears before... But it's sounding pretty good now. What do you think?

Yeah I thought this was good too. Kind of Floydish.

I agree with Bullsy - some fizzy stuff in the high end could be tamed and there's a little muddiness in the synths. But nothing major. Generally sounded very good.

Maybe raise the levels on the drums a bit. Especially the snare.

Ok, I made some more EQ adjustments and I have to admit that it sounds a whole lot more polished than the original. I brought up the snare by 1db or so. Thank you for the great compliments, everyone. I'm having a blast working on this. Here's the new mix:
