OK,

Dealer just called me,

Finally X-studio (1820m) came to good old Europe.

Should be early next week in my machine, comments I will share in some days to come after installation.

What is very important is that machine will be built from the scratch and I need to know something about general sound card.

Can someone finally respond (owners) can you actually use 1820 as you would use any other SB.

I mean, can you functionally use all system sounds via 1820?

I will put ATI AIW inside so (still very primitive solution-but only one) I will need one input for sound from tuner + one IN for general sources, recording vulgaris (tuner,….)

So, I is anyone using 1820 + onboard sound card together?

Can you use IN from your onboard SB?

Is anyone using another SB with 1820?

Does anyone have speakers connected to 1820 and does this works just for 1820 resources, or you can use it all over Windows as well ?

That is why I’ve asked can 1820 behave for OS like soundblaster, after all, it came from the same house
(Creative) that invent them.

Please, answers with substance,

I've Heard and seen these forums, but had no idea about E-mu ones.
