I did wonder... trouble is with typing on these forums is it's open to interpretations, and sarsasm can be seen where it ain't meant!!

I agree with what you said about mixing things up to see what comes out. Sometimes a guitar sound or retuning can actualy spark off a great song. Once I copied a string tuning from a Led Zep song book and came up with a song as a result, if I had never retuned the guitar the song wouldn't exist.

It is art after all and you need to keep your mind as open as possible. It can never be right or wrong...only different.
