10x12 room

my bedroom studio is 10x12..right now i have my monitors set up on the 12ft side not the 10ft side. do you thinks this makes a difference since its only 2 ft. i was just thinking if i should go through the trouble of changing my room around. thanxxxxxxxx

It should make a difference. You want to set them up on the short wall playing to the longer length of the room. Sometimes in small studios like yours and mine you don't have much choice how you set up especially when your studio space has to do mutifunction duties.
If the room is a dedicated studio space just bite the bullet and move it around.

yea, ny studio doubles as the home office...i know what yu mean. i havent moved it before because i have a large window on the side i would need to move it to. ididnt know how that would aafect things and i wasnt crazy about m y stuff being next to the window.
