If you had a 10k rpm hard drive and another 7,200 rpm hard drive, would it make more sense to have the former being the software/os HD, and the latter being for audio, or the opposite ? Or would both situation have their advantages.
I currently use an external hard drive (Maxtor onetouch 200gb) that's 7200 for audio, and I was wondering if buying a 10k hard drive for the softwares and os would be just luxury or help me in my recording tasks.
Thanks.
