I Have A 1010lt And Wanted To Use The 2 Xlr Mic Pres To Record , Even After I Moved The Jumpers They Are Too Hot!! I Was Wanting To Use Them To Mic Drums..but Even On The Lower Settings In The Control Panel And Even After Moving The Jumpers They Are Too Loud????any Help??or Ideas ???on How I Can Take Advantage Of These Inputs Without Buying Additional Preamp??
 
What microphones are you using? Are you using a compressor/limiter? Using a Shure SM-7 with no problems.
 
I´m using both ins for kick & snare without problems. SM57 and AT PRO25. I set the ins at unity in the control panel, that goes for both mics.
 
I have used them to mic a snare and kick before and had no problem. All I did was turn the input level down.
