10 post before submitting url

why should I post 10 posts, so I can post with url?
 
Because there have been bots that register and spam.
 
They're a completely automatic system just to post irrelevant spam advertisements.
 
"Should" questions you can take up with the admins. We just post here...

There's a thread in here somewhere that allows you to bump up your post count to get around the restriction. Use it. Don't use it. Whatever.
 
To prevent against spam bots, these bots are just to create backlinks wherever they can.
It's a black hat seo trick
 
The question is: Why should you post a link before having 10 posts?

Its kinda unfair in that regard especially after you have written something very long and well thought out only to discover it wont post due to the URL thing.

Does anyone else see the series of backlinks in this person's first post...?
 
I haven't seen the ones selling stolen credit card numbers in a while. They don't even bother with links, they just paste the prices right in the body of the post. I wonder if they generate a lot of sales that way? It seems like a poor strategy.
 
If you want stolen credit card or passport links just let me know. We get tons of them in our spam trap over at another forum where I'm a mod.

The ten post rule helps to keep the place clean so that your thread is seen and can be answered.

I can see why you feel hard done by.
 
If the OP had stayed with the discussion they would have had 10 posts by now LOL.
