I'm using a Mackie 24X8's insert sends and direct outs to a MOTU 24i (which only accepts +4 signals). Am I losing high/low end, punch, etc. by doing this? How does this setup affect the sound?
Also, I'm assuming my Mackie's direct out is -10. But are insert sends also either -10 or +4, or doesn't that apply to insert sends? Thanks, Strat
