Being an old time Big Band reed player I also belong to Sax On The Web
which uses the same format as this one.On Home Recording, however I get to say FUCK as much as I like and being an anglo saxon I like it a lot.!
I just joined today and I wish to Say this:I just bought a righteous 8 core Mac pro with gobs of memory and storage.Beside GarageBand I purchased
Logic.Being an Intell Mac I can also run Windows.I got XP because I heard horror stories about Vista. This is my first experience with Windows and I have this to say ,What a cluttered up piece of shit. Why would anyone in Music or graphic arts buy this fucking system? It was such a relief to re-boot to
Leopard and its intuitive ,clean operating system.I have never had it crash
and I use all kinds of third party software. With an Audio TechnicsAT4047 and
Apogee Duet everything is smooth and easy(except for my bedroom studio
which really sucks).I have one question. Are the learning curves on all the other software programs as steep as Logic.(GarageBand doesn't count)
My poor old brain just feels fried.

Logic is supposed to be easier now than it once was, but I would say coming from an audio perspective that it was the hardest program by far to get up and running. For midi though its supposed to be awesome

I think this is hysterical. I'm not going to belabor the fight any, nor make any jokes, but to say hello and welcome to the site.
