Cool DTB. Vocals are a tad loud during the verses.

Good for 1.5

You know..I liked "Wood & Hill" a lot, but this is a better tune....not just for 1.5 hours; it's a kickass song. "Losin' your dope, teein' off in the rain." That's classic.

Dug it much, friend.

Warm. Very warm.

Man I spent the morning on the roof of a garage I'm building. I spent the afternoon wading up a stream flyfishing. I live in Maine. We're getting some 18 inches of snow tonight...as we speak in fact.

This song is warm. Very warm.

79 minutes, fuck, that's too quick, but very much fun.

Emeric, sorry for the loudness. thanks for the listen.

bobbo, thanks.

you too Kramer. thanks.

thanks a lot chris, I will be doing this one again.

thanks joro, a little humor never hurts.

SLuiCe, thanks, and my wife's father's family was from Maine. Visited there 4-5 times when they were still with us. Near Oldtown, at Pushaw Lake. Never went during winter though. Nancy spent many childhood summers there. And I'm glad the tune warmed you up. Sounds like you really needed it. thanks.

This was and is a great idea Vox had. Something different and very fun. Thanks Vox.

Hey man, I've already spent more time listening to this than you spent recording it. It's just along the vein of tunes that I love. Simple, but smart at the same time. It's tough to pull it off if you're not Jimmy Buffet. You need some fukkin' starz or sumpin'.

jamal, thanks, uh, I think, let me check, yeah the fingers are still there, I guess you ain't a wizard. he he he

joro, huh.

track, thanks man.

Hey dtb....good song and good performance. Another 1.5 masteroiece. The funniest thing to me about your songs is how you always have them listed as 'alternative'.

A really good tune bro.

Hey man,

......very very nice song in the making man!!! I really like the hook lines, and the melody of this. ......You really should develop this into what it can be. ........you know, there's something strange about how hot your vocs are on this. I mean, to my ear.....they definitely sound too loud........ .....but as i listen to the grainy, aged sound of your voice .......I like em like that. Its kinda like .....wisdom.. ....or quiet words loud w/ meaning......
.......does that make any sense at all???

I would go light w/ the compression and bring em down only as much as you have to.

...........very nice tune d

G w/ 5

Lt., I'm an alternative kinda guy, he he he he, thanks.

g., first off, no compression, a little boost, and the mic hot enough to hear my heart beat. And yeah, maybe the vocals were a little hot, but shit, 79 minutes! I think it comes from my first years of recording where I could never hear the vocals, and from 25 years of bluegrass picking with no pa, and banjos, mandos, guitars, fiddles, and bass going 100 mph and a nazel voice barking out the words. Choruses were good though. Now, to the serious stuff. Grainy, aged voice. You nailed me dude. I just hope I can make it up and down the steps to the basement a few more years to record. he he he he he. And as always, my friend, I really enjoy your comemts about my shit. Thanks a ton.
