Oh yeah. Man what a great voice, great everything. For the love of God, you folks are good at this.

Very Nice Work

It's hard to beleive you guys do this in an hour and a half/ That is nuts. Great job. I love the sound of the guitars.

Al, just change the name of this song to "too good for Page 2" ;)

I think you get the "award" for best finished product.
I second that. I don't know how you do it my friend but everything you do just sounds like a record to me.

WOW!! I like blues. You have great chops for it. The vox are incredible.

Wow! 1.5 hours? For real?? Sounds sweet!
(If you're wondering who I am....I'm Watyf's bro...hi!)

I really dig this old mono feel. It felt like I was in a blues bar or something. Waiting for the waitress to bring me another drink. Great job dude.

Thanks everybody. You know what I learned from this? I spend an awful lot of time setting up microphones, adjusting preamps and compressors, tuning instruments, looking for patches, scrolling through windows on my computer, trying to get out of the way of the spaghetti all over the place, retaking cause the phone rang--or somebody just walked through the room. If it weren't for all that stuff recording could get REAL FAST!

chrisharris--I ran the whole freaking mix through a preamp and dialed up the mids until it sounded like old tube stuff. Some "mastering" job, eh?

The award should not go to me but to Participant--he's the funniest guy I ever heard. Defecation takes it, I think. Oh--you gotta listen to his song Lumber too. It totally freaked me out and I went laughing uncontrollably. Hell, I'm still laughing. He's the next Zappa meets Stephen Wright.

holy shit... the again, you're the guy that cranked out an aretha franklin cover in an evening on a whim!

this was totally kick ass. your vocal style was right on.
it's going on my hr.com greatest hits play list... which is dominated by you, c.harris, and erland.

If I hadn't been here, I wouldn't have believed it. This is an incredible take. B.B. King should be your sideman.

Awesome tune all around. Great singing, great acoustic beating.

did you play everything (including the harp)? cause it's all perfect!

and what the hell are you doing here anyway?

jesus, even the piano sounds real!

i forsee this one will be in my rotation for a long time. thanks for that crawdad.

Drums? Just a snare drum--thats all I used. Who has time to use a whole kit at 1.5? :D

yeah, I played the whole deal. Tracks went like this:

Vocal+acoustic
acoustic lead
bass
harp
piano
snare drum

All tracks recorded with the MXL 2003/V93--whatever its called. Who has time to set up mics?:D

Thanks erichenryus! I'm glad somebody got into it!
