Hey folks,
I'm trying to find a TEAC deck that records half-track stereo at 7.5ips and 3.75ips. Does anyone know of a deck that fits the bill?
Thanks!!
You could have a problem as I can't think of any, most 1/2 track machines would not record at less than 7.5ips, I can't think of any TEAC that would suit.
The A-3300SX was a 1/4" 1/4 track machine that had 3.75ips.
However the A-330SX 2T being the 1/4" 1/2 track machine only ran at 15 and 7.5 ips.
There may be a way to modify a 1/4" 1/2 track machine to run at 3.75.
The only machine I have in the studio that runs at 3.75ips is an old Akai but that is 1/4" 1/4 track and I only keep it for old tape transfers that come in from time to time.
Cheers
Alan.
Just found that the x1000 runs at 3.75 as well but it to is only 1/4 track
