0404 problems, Plz help

Ive sent an insert send and show the meters rise when the cassette deck is on. I even hear the sound through the speakers from the 0404 card now. But still it does not record anything. Am I missing something in Cubasis?

Ok, ive got sound coming in and recording now. But have a beeping in the recording with it like a pulse. I have saved it to desktop also but it wont open. Says the Network path cannot be found when i directly click on it to open the file.
