ok
i used this mixing desc for years, i recorded tons of demo songs with it,
and even took it with me for live gigs,
its years old, so it has some scratches and dents,

originally it was a 16 channel mixer (sessionmix 16:2)
with 4 AUX (great for live monitors or HP cue mix)
direct outs AND inserts on every channel

HF
MF = sweepable
LF

2 band EQ on master or AUX1+2 return
(nice to cut the bass out of a reverb return)
and theres a master-send so u can put a compressor or EQ on the main L+R

... i didn't have enough with 16 channels, cause i wanted to have a MONITOR SECTION to playback what i recorded, thats why i added the 8 extra channels, this costed me €700 !!

the flightcase then was handmade for me so it could fit the entire mixer,
24 channels + psu cable and some extra thingies,
its built in wood and metal, very rugged and costed me €300

the mixer itsself, mhhh, i think i paid about €700 for it once,
but its been Too long, can't remember

so "new" this thing costed me less than €2000 ($2600)
but its not worth that much anymore,
all channels work ,
EXEPT the AUX SENDS on the 8 extra channels don't work,
can be fixed easily, its the cable inside the mixer that misses 2 little pins,
but honestly i never cared cause its my monitor section,
i don't even use the EQ there! only faders and input gain,
i know a UK and a german company that repairs studiomasters,
they even might have that cable, but this never ever bothered me.

you can buy a 24 channel Behringer mixer for MORE money,
it might have more features, but won't have the typical
brittisch EQ, its not a bad name, not a bad sound,
it looks alot better than the junky-silver behringer style,
and it weighs a ton ;)

i"ve seen the prices of these machines drop like crazy,
2 years ago i was in the states, and people were paying 3 or 4 times more
for these mixers.... nowadays there's just way too many other brands
you can choose from..... :D

€250 = $320 (this means: keep the flightcase, use the mixing desc as a kitchen table or something..... )

i don't like this price at all, but i'm broke, got 3 mixers and only need 1...
so i hope someone will jump on it

the only problem is the weight !
i can send it to any country in EUROPE for about €60

i'm affraid that sending it to the states will be Alot more...

ps....anyone interested in those 8 additional channels only?
i can just take them out, if u got a Sessionmix, then its already got
the connection cable in it !!! or what about only the flightcase?

or mic cables...or sm57's...or brandnew ts patchcables :o

and here you see the 8 extra channels (on the left),
i barely used them, as u can see, i didn't even have cables connected
to it most of the time:

I have a Studiomaster P7 and the 8 channel extention would be great to have. Any chance of seperating and shipping the expansion board to the US?

Not interested in your console (not a live engineer ;) but I do live in europe. Your neighbourcountry actually :) Holland. If you got anything else to sell, shipping would be cheap and I got some money to spend :)

Basicly, anything small and usefull in a home studio will do. Even monitors. I'm very much looking for a preamp and some small condensor mics, but anything will do. If you got anything lemme know :)

AH, this is good news !
yes i can take the 8 extra channels out and send them to you,

but can you please check that you got the connection cable?
open up the studiomaster, and on the left side there should be a
square hole (at least thats the case in my console);

and theres a flat cable with maybe 20 little iron pins,
thats where i got a problem,
u can connect the mixer with the 8 extra channels with a simple cable,
i got both cables, but its those little IRON PINS that connect
the two cables, and i miss two of those stupid little pins....

if u have them, man, then it must work,
well, the channels work ! it depends on where u put the pins,
leave the green cables unconnected and there's no sound,
the brown cables might be AUX......(just a guess...)

well,i'm broke as hell and need to pay bills next month,;
so actually i'm throwing out my equipment...

what about $140 (=€100) + shipping for the 8 channels.... ?
we can work something out..

and i'm selling one of my preamps:

joemeek VC8 :
line in, mic in, insert, two outputs + a direct out (dry/wet)
+ floorpedal to mute-distortion-EQ-Comp

the distortion is crazy, makes guitars and vocals sound SICK,
the compression is fat, just a ratio and preset buttons,
but i like the joemeek sound,
the EQ is a KILLER for accoustic guitars !
but i use it mainly for vocals,
its a superb preamp in combination with my AKG c414

its my favorite preamp,
in a way i don't wanna sell it,
but in the other way....i need the money,
and i only need a preamp in a month from now...

if anyone wants it for €300 , then i'm saved,
its brand new, has no scratches or dents or anything,
never left my rack, if u think its too expensive, fine,
then i'll keep it :)

for the rest i'm trying to get rid of a used sm57 (works perfect),
for €60
and another shure sm57, brand new, never used, still even got the
warrantee papers, bought 6 sm57's in the states last year,
only used 3 of them on my drumkit, the rest catched dust for 12 months
(in their protective leather bag of course)

for the rest i got brand new, still in original package, never used:
XLR cables - 8 meter (€13 a piece)
XLR cables - 16 meter (€17 a piece)
