thanx I ended up getting the VS-840ex. I love it!!! the manual is useless though (as with all Roland equiptment). I could only fit about two song per Zip. This thing is great thanx.

I am a "newbie" U know I am learning. So the Yamaha MD4 is the better buy than the roland VS840-EX. My only concern is the MD4 data disks are a bit hard to find. Thank You.

Maybe you can help me I can not get my MPC and ASR to sync. My ASR will one play one sound at a time, if I am using the drums off the MP. I am LOST on what I am doing wrong. Any help would be the guts! THANX

Ok I am trying to USE mpc-2000 as the sequencer I have an ASR-10 as a trigger. I can only channel one sound out of the ASR-10 at a time, even i have all eight loaded with sounds, Only one instrument (sound) can be heard. My rack mounts are working fine. I can channel from 4 to 8 Midi channels...
