    I am no one

Don't worry about recording it with a metronome. I'd rather it didn't have one. If it's 120 bpm I can put my own clic track on it. If the file you send me starts off exactly at 1/0/0 that would be nice but if it doesn't I can deal with it. An mp3 is good enough. Tell me what kind of file you...

Alright. What do I use for playback and BPMs?

So I was just jamming on my acoustic and recorded it...

I thought the playing and guitar sounded very good but I couldn't hear the metronome at all. You should try running the metronome through a phase shifted ping pong long ass delay analog tape loop modeling plug in with the repetitions cranked and then you can forget about trying to groove with it...

    I am no one

What about letting me send you some structurally repetitive perc tracks to add another layer or color. Perc tracks are like hitting your head on the wall. It feels a lot better when you finally stop.

    Howsa bout a country tune?

Thanks Mister miser! You're probably right about the voice being too dry. I am very leery with reverb because when I get carried away it makes me sound like I'm in the bathroom and everyone is always disgusted by the sounds I make in the bathroom. Don't ask me why. The dude who did the guits...

    I am no one

I liked it. Two chord tunes are sometimes the hardest to pull off. If you forget a chord you've fucked half the tune. If you forget a chord while playing "Good Bye Pork Pie Hat" or "Giant Steps" no one really notices.

    Goodbye, mother******s! (and Gary Busey)

I thought the lyrics were pretty amusing but then I'm easily amused. I used to have a girlfriend in Tulsa who babysat for Gary Busey...or was it Gailard Sartain? Hell I can't remember. I've been trying to forget that girl for thirty years and I'm getting closer all the time.

    Howsa bout a country tune?

I used to hate country music and I'm still not too wild about it but I have mellowed. Old age probably has something to do with it and being 7000 kms away from Arkansas and not having to play the "Cotton Eyed Joe" even once in the last thirty years helps a lot too. I did cut the low end off the...

    Howsa bout a country tune?

From some rednecks down yonder in the cave; jimistone on bass and backup vocals, chris harris on stunning backup vocals, a guy named Dave on guits and yours truly on drums, vox and authorshit...er I mean ship...sorry:o

    can't face goodbye.......

My pleasure amigo! Where are you these days, in Germany or Malta? There used to be a Maltesian guy whose name escapes me at the moment working in the Madrid circuit and was pretty good. Haven't seen him in years. If you ever come thru Spain gimme a holler. el jordo

    can't face goodbye.......

I thought it sounded pretty good. I am not one to get all analytical about frequencies or guitar sounds and stuff so hopefully someone else can do that but I thought the vocals were very good.

I did three or four gigs with Red and Carey Bell in Spain about 15 years ago. I was the drumber and interpreter. I haven't seen him since but I believe he is still in Germany.

    "Pura Vida" - pure life

Very nice sounding guitars and tasty licks. I too "hear" upright bass and congas or tablas with this. Sorry about getting nitpicky with the title but "pure life"- living in an "uncorrupt" life would be "vida pura" while pura vida has a different shade of meaning and would be used to describe...

    "Twenty"

Sorry for chiming in so late. I dl this the other day and forgot to listen til just now. I thought that this was done very well and the voices were fine. There were some interesting guitar sounds towards the end. Since Im a drummer I always have to analyze things from that point of view - do you...

African inspired tune - feedback please

My thoughts- very "clean" sounding, I liked the reverb and a very optimistic "good vibe" feeling to the whole tune. Nicely done. el jordo
