Well, I understand the "minimum post" idea but, personally don't like it because, although I've been a member here for a year and a half or two years, I rarely post. Now, I could obviously change that fact but, I would prefer to only post when I have something helpful, or entertaining, to say...
Thinking of buying a wireless system for live use. Anybody with any recommendations? Does difference in UHF vs. VHF warrant the price difference? Any help is appreciated.

There are a number to choose from. It might be a good idea to do a search on this site for different multi tracking software.
N-track ( www.fasoft.com ) and PowerTracks Pro Audio ( www.pgmusic.com ) seem to be tops in the "bang for the buck" category, at $35 and $29 respectively. I have...
I have heard a number of good things about these shareware effects and have visited the web site at xoom.members.com/digilogue but
every time I try to download the software I get forwarded to a "404 Error" page, and am not able to download anything. Is there a different site to download these...
Actually Dragon I've wondered about that same thing, having an editing program as well as the multi track recording program.
I don't have much money so I can't be too extreme, but just for my info., what kinds of things will the editing programs (i.e. Sound Forge, Cool Edit) do that the...

I had an SOB, which was nice but then traded it for a Mark III, which was like anything worth having...you don't know what you got until you no longer have it. I have never been pleased with my sound since I got rid of the Mark III. It was a separate head and...
Sorry for this newbie question, but any ideas on how to eliminate noise from my PC monitor? When playing my guitar, which goes into a Digitech RP-7, and then to a Midiman 2044 box, there is an obnoxious hum caused by the PC monitor. I know I can shut the monitor off but that's a problem because...
Thanks for the responses...
drstrawl: You're right...I forgot to normalize the final product. Thanks for the re-mix.
Slack: LOL...wish I could take credit for the bass line but it is indeed sequenced. I don't own a bass and can't get a decent replica sound out of my guitar. When I recorded...

I don't use n-track myself but with any decent multi track recording software, assuming your sound card has full-duplex capabilities, you are able to listen to the previously recorded tracks while recording. I think that most programs store the recorded material as something other than a wave...
There are several programs out there that will render a wave file to mp3. I use "right click" which is free ware that you can download from the following site:
