I'm told it's a good idea, if storing the guitar in it's case, to lay it on it's back/front or stand it straight up. Laying it on it's side could cause unneccessary stress on the neck.

Check out vht amps - I have the Pittbull 45 combo - it's a stellar amp for a hard rock sound!

Look at the Hot Rod Deluxe. Has some great tones and a really pure tube clean channel - hence you'll be able run some great effects through it if you like. It's a great price, portable, plenty loud, etc. I've owned Mesa's, VHT's, etc - and I really love the hot rod deluxe.

Anyone have any thoughts or experiences regarding this? Am I posting under the wrong forum section?
