Cool riffs here, the tune rox... I agree about the muddy comment and something to try that might answer your question... for each instrument mess with the EQ while its playing to find which frequency that instrument sounds best at... try raising that frequency a bit and/or lowering the same...

Mix sounds awesome cranked up on my surround system, a lot of punch and aggression to the tune. Nice work! If it means anything seeing the title "date rape" made me think of sublime since they have a tune by the same name, so maybe "victim of lust" would work better, don't know :confused...

This is excellent David, in the intro the dynamics and what sounds like alternating swelling synths fill up the soundscape real nice. The violin entrance is just great, good lead in and change. Then the violin melodies and writing keep the tune and mood going nicely. Great work, enjoyed it...

I agree with the above comments, the tune came on blaring compared to the previous tracks I listened. Nothing wrong with getting a quieter mix that's better (although I'm always guilty of this anyway) Anyway, nothing to add on top of the above advice, just wanted to say I think the tune kicks...

Really enjoyed this, for a first recording it sounds like you still captured what's most important, the emotion in the music. The vibe here is great, feels like a live recording in a small room. Very nice :)

A bit of noise in the intro... the playing is real good... I like the sound of the lead coming... agree that the vox don't fit perfect here... I especially like the piano in there, sticks out just enough to give it a nice touch. The last verse sounds good, good emotion there and good job...

Kick ass song man... I've been using amplitude (the first one) for a bunch of songs and now a line 6 amp with a built in POD direct and thought I've found some pretty cool affects and convincing sounds... I still gotta say for an amp recording, there just seems to be something better about it...
