Hello everyone,
I recently had to reformat my PC, and obviously, had to reinstall Reason and Sonar...but now Sonar isn't registering Reason as a DXi plug-in, thus screwing up my old Sonar project files...any ideas as to what could be wrong?
Thank you!

Hello everyone.
Here's a recent song that I'm working on...I'm not sure if I'm going to put drums to it, since I don't have any real ones...although I may be able to get fake drums to work...
How does the mix sound? Is it good enough to put vocals over? It's supposed to have an airy, dreamy...
Definitely Mark Linkous.
He's an amazing, extremely innovative producer.
Not to mention the brainchild behind Sparklehorse...(One of my favourite bands)
He's produced Nina Perrson's (Cardigans) solo album, A Camp. He also produced Denali's first album and I believe he had a hand in Cracker's...
Well, what I mean by "Doomed chances", is something that you know right from the beginning won't work, but you take the chance anyway...in keeping with the rhyming scheme, it seemed to work for me. I appreciate your feedback, though!
The word 'starry' comes up twice...you got something against...
I would like to think that this is one of the better things I've written...maybe that says I should stop writing! =P Let me know...
(I think the rhyming scheme is mildly interesting, at least)
-Worlds-
Two hands apart
Severed at the tips
A kissed, touched heart
Severed at the lips
Starry...
Hey everyone!
I have Sonar 4 PE and VSampler 3...
How the heck do I integrate VSampler into Sonar 4? I can't seem to get it to work...any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks!
I do have a SB Audigy 2...if that matters.
LimoWreck - If you're a Waits fan, you'd like "Dog Door", by Sparklehorse...Tom Waits sings on that track. The song doesn't define their sound, though.
Soulseek is the ONLY program for downloading music, as far as I'm concerned.
Now that I've done my part, you should do yours by checking out The Weakerthans and Sparklehorse....Mark Lanegan (front-man of Screaming Tree's) has around 5 or 6 solo albums which are all AWESOME and well worth...
Limowreck - I totally agreew with you...Chris Cornell is just a musical genius...period.
I've been a HUGE Soundgarden fan since I was 10 (when my brother played me Big Dumb Sex, no less ;))...12 years later I still love them! As soon as I read the header of this thread, I immediately thought of...
No, I haven't tried that yet.
Would I just create a seperate MIDI track and click on the output and the Aduio track should be available to pick?
I'm at work right now, so unfortunately I can't experiment right now.
Haha...you're assuming I'm a car guy. I haven't heard of half the cars you guys have been talking about! I appreciate the effort, though! ;)
I guess what I was originally trying to get at was, what do the big label studios use, such as whoever produces Britney Spears' music (not that I am...
lack of info
The manual doesn't offer much help in this situation...it doesn't seem to cover plug-ins that require 2 inputs like Vokator...
I have an audio track assigned to Vokator right now...you can't (that I know of) assign Vokator to a MIDI track alone, you have to set it up through the...
This just in - I was able to record my voice and then add Vokator as an effect...no luck controlling it with my keyboard, though. So I need to somehow link up an Audio track with a MIDI track so I can just use the piano roll to draw in the midi notes to control Vokator...is that possible? Kinda...
Vokator has a built-in virtual keyboard/soft synth thing, so I'm using my Roland EM-10 (through MIDI) to control that. And the program has built in sound presets, which takes care of the 2nd input (my mic being the other input).
Thanks for your continued help, by the way. :D
