Okay actually I have one more question: my second microphone is Shure SM57, so can it work if I buy this cable below and use it for SM57 by plugging it into Instrument/Line input on my interface, so that way I have free XLR input for this other condenser mic? ?
Yea, in the end I will probably have to buy new interface with two XLR inputs... Just wanted to check if I was doing anything wrong with this connection. Thanks for the reply!
Hello,
I'm looking for an option to record my acoustic guitar with two mics. I have Behringer U-Phoria UMC22 audio interface, which only has one XLR input. I remembered I have this cable that I got with this microphone, so I found the connector and hooked this microphone in mic line input...
By this, you mean that top peak should be around -3 to -4dB? And if the LUFS for most tracks should be around -14dB, should mine be around -16dB maybe? And what about streaming services turning my volume up if it's too quiet for them? Will it make it "normal" (uncompressed) sounding, but again...

If this is accurate, Spotify and Tidal should turn the volume down for about -0.3 dB, which doesn't seem that much for this amount of compression to happen? Or are the level peaks in the song that are making...
Thanks for answering, guys!
Since you said you can't hear the difference between original and Spotify, can I ask what audio quality settings do you have on your Spotify account? Because when I listen from free user account (that would be 128kbps or so), the difference is very very noticeable...
Hello,
I just joined this forum and thought about asking you something about my song.
I just finished with recording, mixing and mastering my first song. For a moment I thought it sounded decent, until it went live on streaming platforms. Hi hats are completely ruined on Tidal, on some other...
