Ive got my eye on a drone for stuff from the air...its run by an app...you just have to choose the shot and it does it...no learning curve... anyone using drones for this? https://www.yuneec.com/en_US/products/breeze/overview.html
Id only hit the Bass if you are doing something interesting to look at...and go in closer...in my videos bass players are never featured...just the way it is...
Then remix all you want...sync it up in post...most live mixed sound weird anyway since the eq is set to sound good in a room...but if there is no room...I typically run a nice field recorder of the room...and add it to the live mix...
Yes...a $20,000 mic...and its never pointed in his direction...you are supposed to speak into the flat side...the round side is the rear of the capsule...but Im sure its just for show...
You can waste your time measuring it...or eliminate it...his question was about outdoor shooting...believe me...Ive had to EQ out Cicadas last year at several outdoor events...its better to get what you want the first time...than try to fix it in post...
I do video sometimes for schools...usually the last guys work gets posted and I get the job after showing them mine...too many guys out there shooting shaky video...letting Zoom get into the edits...etc...its not hard to show them up...smh...
I find the KSM44 the most useful on the list...but Id go outside the box and get the AT4047...its in the same price range...and will give you a better mic to match everybodys voices...
You should have an SM57...thats a minimum...now IDK if the AT2035 is the same mic as my AT3035...but I like the AT3035 a lot and its a very useful mic...
Most folk sound proof to keep outside noise from getting into the room...that being said...you can build a room...inside a room that can achieve this without tearing down an entire house and rebuilding from scratch...
BTW...room treatments kill echo and solve room issues...may help a little in...
Why not just run out of the mixer into the camera...Id reccomend a sony ax33 4K camera since its on clearence right now...and you can pan and scan 4K video while still having good HD quality...
