    Is magetic tape direction-less?

    So... This seems like a simple question but I can find an answer online. Is magnetic tape directionless? If I splice a 2 minute piece of tape does, top, bottom, back and front matter? once recorded, store tails out of course. but pre recorded, does it matter? Viceroy

    Potentiometer d-shaft vs knob

    Posting in newbies becuase it might be quite basic. But perhaps belongs in DIY. My pots is are d-shaft and when i screw on the knob on it does not line up to the faceplate as i want. Is the a way to change the orientation of the flat part of the d shaft? Viceroy the cat
