    I usually do. The trick is to know when not to rhyme, which makes a particular line stand out more. Not sure if that can be taught. EDIT: In other words, what above poster said ^

    I would go with some more concrete imagery. Instead of "Autumn in the air" I would reference what specifically that smells like (Burning leaves? Rotting piles of grass?).     What I want to do with a new synth: gigs. Probably smallish clubs. My equipment now: Alesis Micron, Fender Bassman amp, Korg SR-120 (analog drum machine). Tomorrow I'm shopping for a mixer so I can run A and C through B. Also various unrelated paraphernalia (banjo, bass, vocal pedal, etc)...

    Alesis and SR-120 through Bassman?

    I have a Fender Bassman 200 and a brand new (well, new to me) Korg SR-120. Ideally I'd like to hook the drum machine and my Alesis Micron up to the amp, possibly for playing out. Is this a bad idea? Will it blow the amp up? I admit I'm a dummy about such things and once cracked a decent guitar...
