Phantom Power for Oktava MK-219 Mic

Ok thanks everybody for the help, saved me a lot of bother messing about trying to get stuff to work. Seems mad to me that they make phantom power supplies that cant generate enough current for my mic but there you go. I'm probably gonna try another way to sort the problem Masten :)

    Broken Steinberg UR-22

Hi A while back the 2nd input on my UR22 stopped working. No sound, nothing, just dead on that input. It was after I was pluggin and unplugging mics, and thought I'd turned off the phantom power but maybe I didn't? Took it to a repair shop and they took it apart, but couldn't find anything...

Phantom Power for Oktava MK-219 Mic

Hi Ok thanks for the info guys. Is going a bit over my head now to be honest. My knowledge of electricity is I know that Amp x Voltage = Watts. That's about it. Mark: so are you saying that with this result: CAD M179, 8ma, 4.52vdc There's no way the PS400 will make an Octava Mk-219 work...

Can I safely connect an audio interface into a boss rc-300 looper

Hi, Can i safely connect the outputs of a Steinberg ur-22 interface to a Boss rc-300 looper. Bit worried as I'm not sure whether it's designed to take that. I guess the auxiliary input is designed for ipods and stuff so it shoud be OK I guess. I'm using the left jack input for guitar, so there...

Best simple midi drums for Reaper

Hi I'm looking for a free midi drums vst plug for Reaper to the following specs: 1. Be easier to keep time for me than the metronome. I really hate that metronome! 2. Functionality wise just allows me to pick a beat from a bunch of presets i.e. 'rock, latin' or whatever and it inserts it...

Hi Mike Thanks for that. Yeah looked at the JBL's. They're nearly double the price of the Presonus over here which is too much really at this stage. Also, as it's my first set of monitors so I don't think I'd be able to tell the difference between the Presonus and the JBL's so gonna go with the...
