This is an older 1980's version of the DPA 4007 microphone. I have a substitute plastic mic box (from a Behr ECM8000) that I can provide for it, not original.
This is the mic only, no original anything but the mic itself. The mic works great.
These things sell new (the DPA ones) around $2,000...
This thing is going to waste at my studio. I love it but I need the space back. I barely ever used it.
All offers will be considered. It has an ugly scratch down the front and some spots that don't look too pretty, but it is functional.
Questions, post in the thread.

I converted my garage into a studio this last year and this is the first project to come out of it complete. I recorded this and 3 other songs for a friend.
I'd like some input from you all here how it sounds.

But can someone tell me if this is a good price on Laminated Glass? :o
1/2" Lami with .060 interlay, 42"x54" :$231.00
3/8" Lami with .060 interlay, 42"x54" :$231.00
It's for my control room window.
ALSO: what about the glass thicknesses? Sound about right?(1/2" and 3/8")?
I was at the NAMM Show last week and saw some cool new stuff, in particular, this pretty cool mixer from Line6:
The mixer has autosensing inputs on XLR/TRS combo jacks that auto-trim as well. The mixer shows a stage plot with drag and drop icons representing whatever you choose. Tons of DSP...
So I have already gone to my city hall and tried to get a permit to convert my garage into a recording studio.
I was told flat out, NO. (I barely got the words out of my mouth before I was shut down.)
Apparently my neighborhood is zoned so that a garage MUST be on the property. So I...
Alesis XD Digital Inline Mixing Console
:o Anyone have a link or any experience with this board?
I cannot find a single dribble of information on this thing anywhere, and I've been googling for 20 minutes.
My gut tells me it was a pre chapter 11 debacle that never quite made it off the...
Shure Model 300 Ribbon mic.
I had this mic stored on its side for a long time. :( Now the ribbon is visibly sagged in the direction it was lying. I know this because I took it apart and inspected it to verify. Even when it is put together you can hold it up to a bright light and see through...
That's right. Step right up. Your music ain't "warm" until you're listening through a set of these babies.
Check it out.

If you are trying to figure out what headphones to get for your headphone amplifier, this could help you decide. :)
So I'm watching the special on PBS about Bob Dylan, and I keep seeing this mic. Looks like a Blue Ball, but of course this was 1965. And all the folkies had one for the vocals and one below for the acoustic guitar.
I've never seen it before, sounded pretty good.
Any one see this? Know what it...
Has anyone else had this?
I have a weird one. The power supply for my 1010 has developed a very strange rattle. When it first started to rattle I thought it was a mouse scratching around behind my computer. It is a mechanical kind of sound, not like an electrical popping. There are no side...
Everyone says they hate cheap gear, but hey, we all own something cheap from somebody we don't want to admit. Who's junk do you buy when you have to buy junk?
Hey guys. Help.
I have a song in Sonar that I'm trying to add drums to. The song has about 8 tracks of audio, I used a drum loop as a guide tempo, the audio in the song lines up perfectly to the measures in Sonar.
I hooked up a keyboard to the midi in on my Delta 1010 and played the drum beat...
Hey guys, just a quickie: Can I open Sonar 3 projects in Sonar 2? I have a friend giving me some work to do at home, he has 3 , I have 2.
I know I can open S2 projects in S3, but how about the other way around?
I am going to be travelling to Europe in about 4 weeks (Poland to be exact) and I need to be able to bring some or all of my guitar rig from the USA.
Does anyone have a good answer for me to adapt the 240v power there down to 120v so that I can at least bring my pedal board and get the sounds...
I'm not a keyboard player, but I picked one up because I liked one that a friend loaned me. I wanted to have something for simple synth/piano sounds without breaking the bank.
Anyway, the unit works good most of the time, but every so often it will start freaking out. It sounds like a cacophany...
