Ran into a small problem just now. I have MXL V67G hooked up to a Behringer UB1204 pro. The behringers aux sends are connected to the line in of my SB Live. It worked fine, untill all of a sudden I get this high pitched static/beep noise whenever the mic is turned on (even if I mute...
I assume theres no reason I cant use the main L/R out for this... the main outs on the behringer are XLR, the back of the stereo are RCA... I assume an XLR->RCA cable isnt an uncommon thing? (Yes, newbie here folks)

Just got a behringer UB1204, and also noticed that my little hi fi system (Sony CMT-CP11) has some plugs on the back for MD/VIDEO in. Would it be possible to use one of the outputs on the behringer to connect it to the stereo and use it as a monitor setup? Would allow me to hold out on...

Its listed under the name "MXL recording pack" but the picture of the mic has V69 written on it, so it must be :) Does it compare well to the V67 family?
Question in between concerning the MXL mics: I can get 2 MXL V69s for a decent price. Whats the big difference between those and the V69G/M (apart from the flash colour obviously :D ). For the price (about 130usd) I could get those for vocals and try something else for guitar if Im not happy...

Has anyone got a link to a sample file of live music (microphone) recorded through a soundblaster Live? I haven't really gotten a clear answer as to how good the quality is, and would like to hear a sample for myself.
