I have a lot of sections of all of my tracks split at certain points (at the verse, at the pre-chorus, at the chorus, etc.) so the tracks aren't just one long continuous track, and I have the "FX" button/square set to show up above each individual split section, so I can assign FX to that...

Don't shoot me! :p I'm using it to get a nice quick "ballpark" sound on a demo I'm trying to do. Does anyone know if there's a way to assign more than one preset at a time to the same track?

If I assign an effect to the entire track with the FX button where the fader is, but then I decide I want to assign a specific effect to a section of a track and I do that to the individual section, does one "override" the other on that particular section? Or will they both kick in on that part?

Yeah, I went ahead and re-did the drums anyway because I got a couple more expansions with more beats, fills, options, etc. Btw, the Nashville expansion is awesome for rock if the metal expansions are a bit too over-the-top!

Is it possible to do this? In my haste to get a drum track done, I exported it as a WAV file without saving the MIDI to work on later, so all of the work I did is in a single WAV file. I can pull it back up in Reaper, but is there a way to change it back to MIDI to edit it some more?

But how do I do it so it only affects a certain part of the song, and not the entire song?

Forgive my ignorance, but why do people want both the wet and dry track to "balance"? Like, if the effected track has a bit too much of an effect, then you just put the dry track higher in the mix? Do most people always do two tracks (the wet/dry) for every part where they want an external effect?

Say I have a song where, when the chorus kicks in at the 1:00 mark, I want to up the "loudness" and intensity of the drums a little bit for that part of the song only, on my Neo. What is the best/most common way to do that? Adjust the faders during mixdown/mastering? I'm a total newb and haven't...

It's right on the verge of clipping. I think I'll just try doing the bounce since I'm a total newb at it anyway and have never done it. Not sure why it came out that way, it's just a drum track I did in Guitar Pro until I can get some better drum sounds (maybe EZDrummer or something). Thanks!

I imported a stereo wav file into my Neo (a drum track) and assigned it to 1/2. The level is waaay up there, far more than the "standard" -16db or so...so how do I adjust it down, since I can't just use the normal trim level? Even bringing the faders down super-low to where you can barely hear...

Right now, not very -- I can't sing worth crap! :) I'm gonna be collaborating long-distance with a guy from a band that I used to be in, so I'll mostly just be laying down guitars, bass, drums, and whatever else, and he's going to be using his setup for recording the vox. I may do some backup...

Do I really need one? I'm sure a preamp would do wonders through just about any multi-track, but I mean, is it really a necessity for good quality recordings with the Neo?

I think I see what you're saying, but how does my guitar actually play through my amp if there's nothing going into the amp's input? That's the part that's kinda confusing me. Like, where how is me plugging into the H input and running the amp's line out to one of the E-G outputs going to work...
